The departments available for recruitment in our company are the following:

International Department
It is the department that daily edits and translates into English the clippings we send to subscribers abroad.

To apply to this department the necessary requirements are to have an English language degree from a university department, as well as a very good knowledge of managing Office word processing, e-mail and blind typing system. Optional degree in Journalism/Communication.

Reporting & Analysis Department
It is the department that processes and analyzes the publicity of our subscribers every day.

To apply to this department, the necessary requirements are a degree in Journalism/Communication, analytical thinking and a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent knowledge of English is essential.

Monitoring Department
It is the department that processes printed media (newspapers and magazines) on a daily basis. The work is done through computer systems and starts very early in the morning.

To apply to this department the prerequisites are a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Communications.

IT Department
It is the department responsible for all the company’s information systems and the data room.

To apply to this department you must be a Computer Science graduate with a specialization in Networks, Databases and Programming.

Sales Department
To apply for the Sales department, you must have at least two years of experience in a similar position on your CV.

Accounting Department
In order to apply to the Accounting department, you must have a degree from a relevant school and previous experience.

Role

We are looking for a PHP Developer. This position requires a combination of front-end (PHP, CSS, JS, etc.) and back-end development (PHP, SQL). The candidates should have at least 2-years’ experience using PHP with MVC frameworks.

Constantly maintain, update and improve our products and services
Optimize them so they remain lightning fast and reliable
Integrate new features and tools

Requirements

BSc degree in engineering, computer science or related field
At least 2 years of experience in PHP, MVC frameworks, MSSQL

Desk Employee (Scanning Department)

Clip News is seeking an employee in Kaisariani for rotational work.

Description

Clip News has been active in the fields of Media Monitoring and Media Analysis since 1992, and is now looking for an Office Employee with responsibilities in Print Scanning to join its team!

This employee will receive newspapers from the Press Distribution Agency at the Athens office (Kaisariani) and will scan them, while simultaneously recording and archiving the processed prints.

Job Details

Work only on Saturdays from 2:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Preference will be given to candidates residing in Kaisariani or nearby areas (such as Pagkrati and Zografou).

Responsibilities

Receiving of prints from the agent
Recording and checking for shortages
Filling out the print check file
Scanning the prints following the order of priority
Updating the next shift colleague about any pending issues (print shortages, mistakes, technical problems, etc.)
Communicating with the agency about any shortages or other issues
Cleaning scanning machines
